Your solution for eco-friendly waste management liquid waste removal and drain specialists. Andersons Waste Management Ltd is a Liquid Waste, Drainage Specialist and Waste Water Treatment company based in South West England. We are a family run business that was established in 1998 and we have continued to grow our business as a result of the service we have delivered to our customers over the years.
In 2012 we opened our own Liquid Waste Water Treatment facility in Avonmouth. Our modern fleet of tankers range from articulated 6000-gallon vacuum tankers to a smaller 2000-gallon tankers for the more rural areas with restricted access we serve. Our fleet also consists of a gully lorry and combined tanker jetting unit. A septic tank is a two or three chamber system which retains sewage from a property for sufficient time to allow the solids to form into sludge at the bottom of the tank.
This is where the sludge is naturally broken down. The remaining liquid, or effluent, in the tank then drains from the tank via an outlet pipe.

Soakaways / Drainage fields etc are often used in rural areas where the local water company has not provided a storm or foul drain.
The rain water should be excluded from sewage tanks as this can cause severe problems during storms as it can lead to massive surges in the sewage tank, for this reason the only option is to construct or install a soakaway system.
A soakaway / Drainage field will be successful depending on the surrounding soil and ground suitability.
In areas where clay or high-water table are apparent it may not be successful for a soakaway to work.
