Lostock Skip Hire
Lostock Skips is a family run business that has been in the waste disposal and recycling industry for over 30 years. We offer customers a friendly and reliable skip hire service and are committed to moving and processing waste in the most environmentally friendly way. Construction projects require a variety of skips to accommodate construction debris and refuse.

Skip hire prices can vary depending on the size of the bin and the area in which you are trying to hire the skip. Skips can be delivered or picked up and can be filled with a wide variety of waste from concrete, metal, plastic, wood, bricks, and other common construction refuse. There will be points in any homeowner's life where it will be necessary for them to hire a skip.
Services
It all began back in 1989, when the farming world started to take a decline.
Chris and Carol Dyke founded Lostock Skip Hire after Chris spotted a gap in the local market for a skip hire company.
Starting off with just one wagon - and Carol sat at HQ waiting for the phone to ring - work started to come in.
To this day, we still have some of our original customers who have helped us get to where we are today.
Following a company buy out in 2016, we are still much a family affair with Jo Dyke and Tim heading up the team of 50 staff with 27 wagons and over 1500 skips.

Just had my skip collected and there were a few cars in the driver's way.
He knocked on to ask who they belonged to, he was so polite and nothing was too much trouble.
I couldn't recommend them enough.
Great service, excellent value for money.
Customer focused, excellent response due to a communication problem with skip return quickly resolved.
Good outcome, can highly recommend.
Excellent service right from speaking to a very nice lady who arranged it all right through to delivery and collection of the skip by very efficient staff.
With over 30 years of experience in the skip hire industry, we know that on every project you need availability, reliability, communication, and peace of mind.
We also know that every project or site is different, which is why we supply a wide range of cost-effective skips.
Roll-on, roll off containers - from 20-yard to 40-yards.
These can even be supplied as low sided containers for bulk removal of heavy materials such as soil or demolition waste.
All our waste is processed on site at our waste transfer station and meets all legislative requirements.
Before you place a skip on any public highway or road (including a pavement) you need to have a skip permit from the local council.
Skip permits exist to control how many skips are placed on the road because they take up space and can impact parking and traffic flow.
Not having a skip permit is unlawful, you can be liable to a fine, and the skip could be removed at any time.
There is no requirement for a permit if you put a skip on private land, such as your driveway, field or private road.
Skip licenses are normally organised for by the skip hire company, although a few councils require the actual person paying for the skip to order it direct.
