Since 1948, Ahern Waste Management and Recycling provides a comprehensive waste management service in East London and South Essex areas. This includes recycling and recovery of materials and is tailored to your specific needs. We are licensed to handle all waste types including most hazardous waste types. We have many years' experience in dealing with all aspects of hazardous waste management.
All relevant documentation and legislation compliance is part of our service, as you would expect. Hazardous Wastes include asbestos waste collection and disposal, fluorescent tube recycling and the collection and treatment of WEEE waste among others. Our waste collection services include various vehicle types depending on the bin types being used.

Services
Ahern Waste Management and Recycling were established in Harold Hill in 1948 by our founder Patrick Ahern.
The business originally comprised two Bedford 5 cubic yd drop side tipping vehicles.
These vehicles collected wastes from the roadside and were then transported to local disposal sites.
In 1961 we relocated to Crow Lane, Romford.
A fleet of Skip vehicles were added to better service growing demand in the East London area.
By the late 1960's the fleet had been further expanded again.
We added mobile compaction vehicles and began to supply specialist containers and bins.

Operating from our West Thurrock depot, our Eurobin (wheelie bin) service is ideal for light compactable wastes generated by Commercial and Industrial waste producers.
We are able to provide Eurobin containers ranging in size from 240 litres to 1100 litres for the acceptable waste types listed below.
All of our containers are easily manoeuvrable and are fitted with lockable lids.
